How to Plan a Live Printing Booth for Your Event

A live printing booth runs smoothly when a few things are nailed down early. This is the short planning checklist we walk every client through before their date.

Professional booth setup with tiered display of decorated apparel samples and branded signage

Start with space and power

Reserve roughly a 10x10 area for one booth, or wider frontage if you expect heavy traffic and want parallel presses. Each press bank needs one dedicated 110V, 20-amp circuit. For outdoor sites, plan weather cover and a generator early.

Size the booth to your guest count

One staffed booth finishes 40 to 70 pieces an hour. Divide your expected takers by your booth window and you'll know whether one booth or two presses keeps the line comfortable. We help you do that math against your real headcount.

Design the product menu

Decide what guests can make: a shirt, a cap with a patch, a tote, a tumbler. A tight menu keeps decisions fast and the line moving. Bella+Canvas 3001 tees and Richardson 112 caps are reliable crowd-pleasers.

Get artwork in early

Send event logos, sponsor marks, or the design set ahead of time so we can prep clean transfers. If you want personalized name drops, tell us — those add a little press time per guest.

Lock the timeline

Confirm load-in access, the booth window, and teardown. We build the booth before doors and break it down after, so your run time is all live printing.

Reserve your date

Put this into a real plan.

Tell us the date and venue and we'll spec the booth around it.
