How does a live printing booth work?
A live printing booth is a staffed station where guests choose a blank and a design, then watch it get printed live. A booth host runs the menu and keeps the queue orderly; an operator aligns the right transfer on the garment and presses it. Heat and timing are dialed in advance, so each piece presses cleanly, cools on a rack, gets a quick quality check, and is handed back, usually within a couple of minutes. Guests wear it for the rest of the event.
How much space and power does a print booth need?
A single live printing booth needs roughly a 10x10 footprint and one standard 110V, 20-amp circuit per press bank. High-traffic events get a wider frontage with parallel presses, which means additional circuits. Outdoor sites without house power are covered with a generator we flag during planning. We confirm the exact space and power for your specific venue before the event date so there are no surprises at load-in.
How many shirts can a live printing booth print per hour?
A single staffed booth typically finishes 40 to 70 pieces per hour, depending on the product and how personalized each item is. A simple front-graphic shirt runs fast; a personalized name drop or a cap with a chosen patch takes a little longer. For high-traffic events, we stage multiple presses in parallel and use a tight design menu to hold throughput up, so the line keeps moving even during a rush.
